What to Do and Where to Go: Ruidoso has been named the Year Round Playground of the Southwest. The Village and surrounding County boast four season sports and recreation including, golf, hiking and camping, horseback riding, hunting and fishing, mountain biking, alpine skiing at Ski Apache, Nordic sports, snowmobiling and snow play.
During the day, enjoy the casino and world class horse racing at Ruidoso Downs Race Track where, since 1947, it has been a Ruidoso tradition to watch the $2 million All American Futurity, the world's richest race for quarter horses. After a day at the rack track, your evening could comprise of either experiencing the casino at the newly renovated Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino or taking in a show at the world renowned Spencer Theater for the Performing Arts.

Experience the Warmth of the Region: Rainmakers Golf and Recreational Community is located in the heart of South Central New Mexico high in the Sacramento Rocky Mountains. Conveniently located ust 11 miles north of the Village of Ruidoso, New Mexico, and 16 miles from Sierra Blanca and the Ski Apache ski resort. The Sierra Blanca Regional Airport, providing general aviation access, is just 3 1/2 miles from the Community's entrance on Hwy 220.
